The slide guide is for the grinder disc of a saw blade sharpening machine, particularly a circular saw blade used for cutting steel and non-ferrous metals. It has a screwed spindle (8), sliding in the lengthwise direction and turning, with a right-handed screw thread (21) at one end and a left-handed one (22) at the other. Guided stops (19)(20) are adjustable in opposite directions on these threads.
