The arrangement is intended for conveying successive sheets (2) from a stacked supply (1) along the surface (7) of a table (3) to a station (4) for further processing. The transport movement is provided by rotating suction rollers (6) which are arranged below the table surface. Part of their circumference projects through openings in that surface. Each roller is provided with radial ducts which are connected to a vacuum supply during the time period, in which they pass by the opening. There may be several coaxial rollers arranged across the width of the table and sets of rollers longitudinally spaced at a distance equal to the sheet length, or shorter.
