The lashing mechanism has on one end a U-cross section part (1) connected by a reinforcing bolt providing a channel through which the strap (12) enters the mechanism. The other end of the mechanism body (2) is connected to a hook (20) by a rotary bolt (3). In the middle part of the mechanism body a U-cross section lever (4) is seated on a fulcrum (6). Adjacent to the fulcrum (6) the lever carries two link arms (14), connected by fulcrum (9) to the lever and by fulcrum (13) to two discs (8) rotatingly seated in openings (7) provided in each side wall of mechanism body . After swinging the lever towards the end (1) of the body, the free end of the strap is introduced through the slot on the shaft connecting the two discs , turned back by 180 deg. and fed to the outside.
