PURPOSE:To obtain a regenerative image whose border part is smooth, by encoding the bearing of the border part in the border part of a picture, and adding it to a run- length code. In the order of the parts P1, P2 of the scanning line (l), however, a bearing code (10) is made to exist. As for P2 and P3, a bearing code (01) is made to exist. Accordingly, the scanning line (l) becomes (0000000)-(10)-(111111)-(01)-(0000), and a result of the formula II is obtained by the Wy le method. In this way, it is unnecessary to encode all the scanning lines, and a picture of high quality can be regenerated. |
