PURPOSE:To get rid of a noise without deteriorating an original picture signal, by compressing the differential signal of an original picture signal and a forecasting picture signal corresponding to the adjacent picture signal of said original picture signal, and adding and outputting said compression output and the forecasting picture signal. CONSTITUTION:An original picture signal which is outputted from the solid image pickup element 400 is inputted to the differential circuit 401, a forecasting picture signal to the original picture signal of 1 picture element before is subtracted from the original picture signal, its differential signal is compressed by the compressing circuit 402, and after that, the forecasting error signal and the forecasting picture signal are added by the adding circuit 403. The addition output is outputted to the output terminal 406 as a correcting picture signal. The forecasting picture signal is formed by the forecasting circuit 404. |
