Thermoelectric safety ignition device for gas burner - has two buttons respectively opening and closing safety valve by use of electromagnetic coupling

The device has a housing containing an electromagnet coupled to a frame monitor and a gas valve and a safety valve inserted in the gas supply line. The housing also has a pair of manual operating buttons (33,24) one used to open the gas valve and the other to close the safety valve. A magnetic coupling is provided between the armature, moved towards the electromagnet (52) upon actuation of the first button, and the operating element for the safety valve and released upon actuation of the second button. The ignition allows the burner to be re-ignited before the full decay time of the thermoelectric safety device.
