PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a liquid-crystal display device by uniforming the sealing width without causing the thermal destruction of a circuit, by sealing substrates with adhesives cured by ultraviolet rays irradiation. CONSTITUTION:A circuit and electrode for controlling the light modulation of liquid crystal is formed on at least either one of substrates, and circumferences of two substrates are sealed with epoxy type adhesives, etc., cured by ultraviolet rays irradiation. Next, a sealing-unnecessary part is masked and cured by ultraviolet rays exposure, and then the unnecessary part is removed by a solved to form a liquid-crystal container. Into this container, liquid crystal is injected to obtain a liquid-crystal display panel. This method reduces manufacture processes and the display panel with uniform sealing width and free from defection in sealing can be obtained. |
