PURPOSE:To prepare a photoreceptor having a support repeatedly usable, by providing a photoconductive light sensitive layer on a conductive layer formed on the outer surface of a cylindrical heat-shrinkable resin substrate, and contracting the obtaind photosensitive element on a support base inserted into the hollow part of said cylindrical element in order to fix it to the support. CONSTITUTION:Conductive layer 2 is formed on cylindrical substrate 1 made of a heat-shrinkable resin by vapor deposition or coating or the like, and photoconductive light sensitive layer 3 is provided on layer 2 by coating, dipping, or the like to obtain photosensitive element 4. Zinc oxide or an organic photoconductor having flexibliity is preferably used for photosensitive layer 3. Support base 5 made of aluminum, plastics, or the like material is inserted into the hollow part of element 4, and this is fixed to base 5 by heat contracting element 4 through heat treatment, thus permitting support base 5 to be repeatedly used and a seamless copy to be obtained by this electrophotographic receptor. |
