发明名称 WAVE COMBINATION AND DISTRIBUTION METHOD OF OPTICAL SIGNAL FOR OPTICAL MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To realize a multiplication of wavelength for a number of input signals and a distribution of input signals to a number of optical fibers, by putting the rays having different wavelengths with different incident angles into a solidified and diffusing optical system having a difference between the horizontal and vertical focuses and then extracting those rays through a single slit. CONSTITUTION:A difference is secured between the horizontal and vertical focuses by using the collimator 3 and telemeter 4 for a concave mirror and cylindrical mirror, respectivelly thus, obtaining a solidified and diffused optical system. Then the rays given from the light source string 2 consisting of independent light sources having different wavelengths are made incident to the diffraction grating 1 via the collimator 3 and with different incident angles each. Then the reflected rays of the telemeter 4 which become parallel to each other on a vertical surface are extracted through the single slit 5 that is perpendicular to the horizontal plane at the horizontal focus with a limited width. Thus the light waves of different wavelengths are combined together. Furthermore, the light at each point on the slit caused by a difference between the horizontal and vertical focuses can be distributed to the optical fiber row 6 arranged on the vertical surface and along the slit. As a result, multiplexing of wavelengths is possible for a number of input signals, and then these input signals can be sent evenly into a number of optical fibers.
