PURPOSE:To obtain a protein recording material sensitive to both light and heat by forming a recording layer contg. heat-coagulable protein with photosensitive groups introduced on a support. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer contg. heat-coagulable protein with photosensitive groups introduced is formed on a support. The groups are introduced using a compound having a functional group which reacts with protein and a photosensitive group in the molecule. The compound may be 4-azidobenzoic acid chloride, 4-azidosulfonylbenzenediazonium chloride, cinnamix acid chloride or glycidyl ester of cinnamylideneacetic acid. At this time, a carbonyl compound. peroxide, an azo compound, a photoreducible dye or the like may be used as a photosensitizer, and acetamide, thioacetamide, oxycarboxylic acid or the like as a heat sensitizer. A light- heat converting substance such as carbon black may be added to the recording layer to carry out recording by flash irradiation. |
