PURPOSE:To increase the strength of front gap side and to prevent the deterioration of magnetic characteristic, by providing two grooves on the core surface between a front gap constituting surface of a magnetic head core and a winding hole, filling in the adhesives on the grooves at the winding hole side, and bonding the core of opposing heads. CONSTITUTION:On one side of a core block 20 of metallic magnetic material having high saturation magnetic flux density such as sendust, filling grooves 21-24 of adhesives are provided to fill in the silver solders 25-28 on each groove. The preventing groove 29 for silver solder diffusion and a winding hole 30 are formed. The groove 29 specifies the lower end 32 of the front gap constituting surface 31 with the groove 21 and the groove 22 locates the specified distances (l) and (m) between the surface 31 and the winding hole 30 so that the diffusion of the silver solder 26 can not be given to the surface 31 and the silver solder can not flow to the hole 30. After wrapping the surface of the block 20 thus processed, a spacer like SiO2 is provided to be welded with other core semisphere block, and the magnetic head chip is obtained through slicing so that the front gap side can be the core chip. Thus, the head with strong mechanical strength can be obtained by proventing the deterioration in the magnetic characteristics. |
