PURPOSE:To narrow the necessary frequency band, by sampling the length of the basic period out of the frequency component of the voice signal and the storing the signal into a memory circuit to read it later with a reduced reading speed. CONSTITUTION:The voice signal 201 is separated into the amplitude component and the frequency component via the syllable compressor 202. The frequency component is stored in the 1st memory circuit 203. The basic period detection circuit 204 samples the signal equivalent to the length of the basic period out of the frequency component via the control circuit 205 and transfers it to the 2nd memory circuit 206. This signal is enlarged on the time axis by reducing the reading speed of the circuit 206 and applied to the multiplying circuit 207 together with the amplitude component and the basic period component to produce the multiplication signal 208. |
