PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of a device and thereby perform accurate measurement and control of temperature by connecting a temperature-sensitive container wherein metal hydride is enclosed with a pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:Metal hydride 2 is enclosed in the temperature-sensitive container 1. The temperature-sensitive container 1 is connected with the Bourdon tube 41 of a Bourdon-tube type temperature indicator 4 through the intermediary of a pressure- resisting pipe 3. When ambient temperature rises, the metal hydride 2 is heated and hydrogen gas is released. The pressure of the hydrogen gas is transmitted to the Bourdon tube 41 through the pressure-resisting pipe 3 and the temperature is indicated by the Bourdon-tube type temperature indicator 4. |
