<p>A number wheel for a counter (or cyclometer register) of the internal transfer type comprises a skeleton in the form of a circular rim 11, carrying the numbers 12, which are attached to a side face of the rim 11 by legs 13. integral with the rim 11 is a reinforcing member in the form of a toothed support 14 with internally projecting teeth. The side faces of the extremities of at least some of the teeth are joined together by segments of a circular ring 15. The wheel is moulded in a two- phase injection moulding process, the skeleton being moulded in a material of one colour in a first phase and the body being moulded around the skeleton in a material of a different colour in a second phase. <IMAGE></p> |
