Memory controlled switching circuit - uses computer-controlled RAMs or EPROM(s) to make connections between input and output lines

This switching circuit makes connections between five input lines and five output lines under the control of memory circuits. Each of the five inputs are fed directly and in inverted form to a matrix of memory-controlled switches which can connect them to four bus-bars. Further memory-controlled switches can connect the bus-bars to the five outputs. The memories are controlled by a four-bit address and a 15-bit data input. The memories may be RAM's or EPROM's. The whole switching circuit may be constructed on one integrateg circuit, thus saving the costs and delays inherent in conventional logic switching.
