PURPOSE:To make it possible to economically operate the system at night, as well, by automatically cutting off the electric power supply under the specified condition, when the unattended operation of the data processing system is being executed. CONSTITUTION:In case when the data processor 1 is in an unattended operation state, for instance, the indication for cutting off the electric power supply at a specified time are written in its main memory part 2, as a reason for cutting off the electric power supply automatically. It is executed by an operator by use of the peripheral equipment 4, etc. And, at the specified time, the processor 1 sends out a power off signal to the subordinate data processor 6. When it has been received, the subordinate data processor 6 controls the automatic electric power supply control device 14. As a result, the respective electric power supply control parts 5, 13 of the data processors 1, 6 are controlled, and the electric power supply is cut off. In this way, the system can be operated economically at night, as well. |
