摘要 PURPOSE: To extreamly easily define a neutral position on which a pitch bend effect is not produced by stopping the output of a bend quantity signal when the distortion quantity of a reed is inclued within a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION: A bend sensor 170 in a reed 153 is constituted of a magnet 165 fitted to the tip of a cantilever 161 to be oscillated when a player bites it and a hole element 167 opposed to the magnet 165. An output from the element 167 is inputted to a controller, the deflection quantity of the read 153 is detected by a deflection quantity sensor 21 and a deflection quantity signal is inputted to a bend quantity operating means 22 and a signal stopping means 23. When the deflection quantity of the reed 153 is included within a fixed range, the means 23 stops the output of the bend quantity signal to interrupt its input to a bend effect generating means 24, so that a neutral position on which a pitch bend effect is not produced can be defined.
