This machine consists of photographing unit(B) which has the character holding means(3) being able to mount or remove the arbitrary number of character board holding characters and symbols, and the control unit(C). The control unit controls the character card on which the proper card is mounted, the signal from the character card key(18), the desired character among the arbitrary characters responding to the character card key, the signal from the shift key(14) selecting symbols, and the exposure controlling in comparison with the command signal and the character discriminating signal.
