<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive heating on the same thermal head by controlling the heating thereof with a printing a signal memorized with a delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:A printing a signal is delayed by an integral number fold of a cycle TN for renewing data to form a signal 100. Signal 200, 300 and 400 are formed by sequential delay of the signal 100 by a factor of TN. On the other hand, the sum of the signal 100 during the period of TN-g ((g) is the data transferring period) is memorized into a shift register 600, the sum of the signals 200, 300 and 400 during the sampling cycle into a shift register 500 and the sum of the signal 100 during the period of (g) into a shift register 7. In the period of (g), each thermal head in the thermal array is heated according to data of the register 500. When the signals from the registers 500 and 600 coexist, the output of the register 700 is stopped thereby preventing continuous application of a heating signal to the same thermal head.</p> |
