PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of injection and product recovery in the combination of a fixed die and two mobile dies movable horizontally with a simple construction in a horizontal injection molding machine. CONSTITUTION:A die clamping mechanism 14 comprising a mobile platen 18 having mobile dies 22 and 23 which are provided on a slider body 26 adapted to be guided horizontally through a guide 28 is arranged on the side of an injection mechanism 12 comprising a fixed platen equipped with a fixed die 20 and molding recovery mechanisms 30 and 31 are formed on both sides of the injection mechanism to form an injection molding machine. In said molding machine, the mobile platen 18 is moved in the direction of the arrow X to clamp the fixed die 20 and the mobile die 22 and a resin is injected into a cavity to mold. Thereafter, the platen 18 is retracted and moved in the direction of the arrow Y and then, advanced in the direction of X whereby a molding held with the mobile die 22 is transferred to the recovery mechansim 30, while a resin is injected into the dies 23 and 20 thus clamped. Thereafter, the same procedure is repeated to perform another cycle of injection molding. |
