PURPOSE:To form a form having an undercut integrally without effecting a secondary work by a method wherein a part of reinforced plastic is put on the reinforced plastic sit in a bottom tool and is set, then, a top force is clamped and all of them are hot-pressed. CONSTITUTION:A mold, divided into three blocks of a cavity side protruded mold (the bottom tool) 2, a core mold 3 and a core side protruded mold (the top force) 4, is employed and the core mold 3 is divided into the circumferential direction thereof and the sectors thereof are slided radially by a sliding mechanism 5. Firstly, the FRP forming material is set onto the bottom tool 2 as shown by A in the diagram, thereafter, the FRP forming material is set onto the surfaces of the core molds 3 as shown by B under a condition that the sliding type core molds 3 are opened a little bit. Subsequently, the core molds 3 are moved to predetermined positions utilizing the sliding mechanism 5 to engage them with the bottom tool 2. Then, the FRP forming materials are set as shown by C, D thereafter, the top force 4 is clamped and all of them are hot-pressed to form the wheel 1 having the undercut integrally. |
