The clip for a ball-point pen, fountain pen and the like comprises in a single part (1) a rod-like portion (2) and a fastening portion (3), the latter being basically C-shaped at right angles to said rod-like portion (2). Said C-shaped part is insertable into and fastenable to, with a spring-action fit, a corresponding peripheral recess (5) situated on that part of the pen to which this clip is to be fastened, said peripheral recess (5) being approximately equal in depth to the thickness of said fastening portion. <IMAGE>
