PURPOSE:To obtain the colored expanded styrol formed piece without nouniformity in coloring at an inexpensive cost by a method wherein expandable material beads are filled into the expanding chamber of a mold and coloring emulsive synthetic resin liquid is poured thereinto after secondary heating or primary heating. CONSTITUTION:The expandable material beads, the primary expanding of which is finished, are supplied into the expnading chamber 3 formed by a fixed mold 1 and a movable mold 2 through a material pouring port 5 and the primary and secondary heatings are effected by steam heating to expand the expandable material beads. Subsequently, the coloring emulsive synthetic resin liquid is introduced through resin liquid pouring pipes 10, 11 to soak it uniformly into the surface and the inner part of the expandable material beads in the expanding chamber, which are formed into the piece of almost expanded. Next, a much amount of steam is introduced into the molds 1, 2 to form the perfectly formed piece 14 by further expanding the expandable material baeds in the expanding chamber 3 thereby obtaining the formed piece of the colored expanded styrol. |
