PURPOSE:To perform control with high reliability irrespective of kinds of waveform by providing a peak hold circuit to hold a peak value of signals from a power sensor and a reset circuit to reset the hold of the peak hold circuit at a prescribed interval. CONSTITUTION:When a signal from a power sensor 6 arrives at a prescribed number of counts, the reset circuit 10 resets the peak hold circuit 9 and inputs a new peak value again into the peak hold circuit 9. The peak value is fed back to a control circuit 7 through the peak hold circuit 9. In this manner, the strength of a laser beam 4 being the output of the laser beam oscillator can be kept at a prescribed set strength. |
