PURPOSE:To remove disturbance from laser beam oscillation and to perform a high-quality laser beam machining of a material to be machined by interrupting laser beam oscillation in a comb type and reducing the effect of reflected laser beams. CONSTITUTION:A 1st transmitter 3 inputs signals from a frequency setting device 1 and a duty setting device 2 to output pulse signals conforming to a set value. A 2nd transmitter 18 is connected with the output of the 1st transmitter 3 and dispatches signals with frequencies higher than the 1st transmitter 3 while the 1st transmitter 3 outputs pulses. The outputs of the 1st transmitter 3 and the 2nd transmitter 18 make a product by an AND circuit 19 and the output 29 opens and closes a switch 5. In this manner, by performing laser beam cutting by comb type pulses, since the laser beam oscillation is not disturbed by the reflecting beams from the material 16 to be worked 16, the cut area is not inclined, the laser output is stable, the cut width is fixed and high-precision machining can be performed. |
