Process for the preparation of thiazine derivatives

Thienothiazine derivatives of formula <IMAGE> wherein R2 denotes the radical of an aromatic heterocycle which has 1 to 4 heteroatoms and is optionally substituted by one or two lower alkyl groups or R2 denotes a phenyl radical which is optionally substituted in a particular manner defined in Claim 1, and R1, R3 and R4 have the meaning given in Claim 1, and salts thereof, have an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antirheumatic and antithrombotic action. They may therefore be used as medicaments. The compounds of formula I are prepared by reacting corresponding compounds of formula <IMAGE> wherein R denotes lower alkyl, with appropriate amines of formula H2N-R2 IIIv
