<p>PURPOSE:To correct a detection error due to the counterflow of air with regard to a hot-wire type air flow rate detector, by finding the quantity of the counterflow of air from the revolutional number of an engine and by subtracting the obtained value out of a detected flow rate. CONSTITUTION:Electric conversion signal Qa of the quantity of air detected by a hot-wire type air flow rate detector is inputted to microprocessor 104 after being sent to waveform shaping processing circuit 101 together with a signal from pulse generator 102. In addition, the crank angle position and engine revolutional number detected by crank angle sensor 103 are also inputted to microprocessor 104. Microprocessor 104 reads the crank angle that corresponds to the engine revolutional number by storage circuit 105 and then compares its with the crank angle signal. When it reaches a set crank angle, electric conversion signal Qa is held in the storage circuit in microprocessor 104 and then subtracted 106 from electric conversion signal Q2 to find the real quantity of air.</p> |
