<p>PURPOSE:To provide, besides a shelf unit, a movable carrier which can be placed in and taken out from a shelf unit and also allowed to directly put in and take out articles while it is placed in a shelf unit. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 3 is placed near a light pen 41 of an input terminal equipment 4 so that the light pen 41 may read a code mark of the carrier 3 and a code mark recorded on an edge of a magnetic tape 2 alternately in order. The carrier 3 is then inserted in a space 112 or 122 through an open doorway 111 or 121. After this step, a storing work starts with an operation of a storing switch of an operation keyboard 113 or 123. Subsequently to the start, a return of the magnetic tape 2 in order to each given positions on shelf units 11 and 12, is performed automatically by a controlled action of a carrier stand 13.</p> |
