<p>PURPOSE:To considerably improve slaking resistant property and refining effect by consisting a refining agent of CaO, alkaline earth metal fluoride, and MgO-contg. material of specific compositions, melt-sticking and solidifying alkaline earth metal fluoride on CaO surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A CaO source such as quicklime, alkaline earth metal fluoride such as fluorite, and MgO-contg. material such as fired dolomite are compounded in a manner as to be contained at >=80%, 2-10% and 2-10% respectively in weight percent. The mixture is charged into a rotary kiln. Thereupon, when the mixture is fired and cooled, the granular material melt-stuck and solidified with the alkaline earth metal fluoride on the CaO surfaces is obtained.</p> |
