The tool carrier is for a wood working machine. It is in two parts, one (4) is for fixing and the other (6) carries the tool. These are joined by locating and joining lugs (7-8). The fixing (4) has stops (44) for the tool shank (3). There is also a groove working with an eccentric disc (5). The tool cutting edge (6) is disposable. The fixing for the edge is parallelepiped and the lower face (43) has a groove between the two front and rear faces (41,45) of the fixing (4). This groove receives the eccentric disc (5).
