<p>PURPOSE:To correct position of sheet in carrying direction and perpendicular direction by arranging a row of sheet detecting means in the downstream of a sheet carrying means while making an angle with sheet carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet 6 finished of first time copy is carried again, carry rollers 8, 9 start rotation and continue rotation with the sheet 6 beind held between them and stop at a time point when the sheet 6 is detected at by a row of sheet detecting means 3. If the side edge position of the detected sheet 6 is different from the position detected at previous time, a motor 27 is started by a command fed from a control section to move a slide frame 10 together with the carry rollers 8, 9 and the sheet 6 in the direction perpendicular with the carrying direction so as to align the side edge position of the sheet 6 with the position in previous time. Then the sheet 6 is fed synchronously with operation of transfer section in copy machine.</p> |
