PURPOSE:To accomplish an easy adjustment for the distribution of charging materials to blast furnaces etc. by changing the throwing method of charging materials and providing a rectifying plate in supplying charging materials into a furnace top bunker. CONSTITUTION:When supplying charging materials into a furnace top bunker 1, a pattern of particle size variation is different in the initial flowing between in a case A, center charging in a bunker 1, and in a case B, off-center charging. Further in the cases C, D, having rectifying plates installed, a range of particle size variation becomes narrow and its variation can be controlled. In the manners of arranging a rectifying plate 7 in the bunker 1, the following cases are arranged: in a case I that the plate is slightly shifted from the center of a discharging port 1a so that a flow of charging materials doesn't hit the plate; in a case II that the flow hits the plate; in a case III that the plate 7 is installed on the center of the port 1a so as to be hit by charging materials. The distribution of particle sizes in each case is different, respectively. By controlling particle sizes of charging materials for the top bunker 1 properly, the distribution of particle sizes of charging materials for a blast furnace can be adjusted. |
