PURPOSE:To improve the superconductive characteristic such as superconductivity transition temperature and strength by coating a specific superconductive ceramic material on a reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive ceramic material expressed by the formula I is coated on a reinforcing material. In the formula l, alpha is an element selected among Y, La, Nd, Bm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu, and 0<x<1, 0<=y<2, 0.5<=z<=3. This superconductive material has the tape-shaped reinforcing material 1 and a film 2 made of the superconductive ceramic material and formed on one of its surfaces. The superconductive material with the high superconductivity transition temperature and excellent strength is thereby obtained. |
