<p>The barrel (9) for metal workpieces is mounted horizontally on roller bearings and driven by a reduction motor. The barrel has a polygonal vertical cross-section with a humidifying unit at one side. The humidifying unit comprises a liquid distribution channel, for maintaining the correct humidification leveller for rinsing the workpieces. The distribution channel has a perpendicular feed axis rotating with the barrel and communicating with a static reservoir, the liquid flow being controlled by an electromagnetic valve. The valve is controlled by the current circuit of the drive motor. Pref. the distribution channel extends across the full width of the barrel and has spaced injectors each with a head. The injector projects through the rubber lining of the barrel.</p> |
