PURPOSE:To enhance the wear resistance, magnetic characteristics, workability and corrosion resistance of an Fe-Al-Si magnetic alloy by adding one or more among Mo, Ni, Ge, Hf, Mn, Be, Ca, etc. to the alloy together with B. CONSTITUTION:To an Fe-Al-Si magnetic alloy consisting of 2.0-12.0% Al, 2.5- 13.0% Si and the balance Fe are added 0.001-2.0% B and one or more among 0.1-5% Mo, 0.1-7% Ni, 0.1-5% Ge, 0.1-5% Hf, 0.1-5% Mn, 0.1-3% Be and 0.005-2% Ca as secondary elements. The addition of B makes the grains of the alloy fine and enhances the magnetic characteristics. The addition of the secondary elements enhances the wear and corrosion resistances of a magnet of the alloy. |
