<p>The roof support (9) has two parallel triangular walls (9b,9c) with a gap (10) between them, the length of the support (9a) being constant while the height varies to suit roof pitch. The gap is also edged by a front wall (12) notched at the top (12a). The base (11) is ramped (at 11a) and has a front cut out notch (13). A cap for the ridge of the gable end can be cast along the top of the elements and reinforcing bars for this in the gap (10) ensure a good joint between adjacent supports as well as between the support and cap.</p> |
