A package for selling precut fabrics and trimmings for home-made garments comprises a transparent flexible plastic bag through which a cardboard stiffener can be seen which is printed with details of the contents of the pack and their method of use. The top of the pack is enclosed by a folded flap which features a slot through which a strip of the fabric can project to allow direct assessment of the colour and feel of the fabric. Opt. the bag is made of flexible PVC and is sealed by adhesives or clips.
