The pipe clamp comprises two identical parts of one piece construction with an eye at one end of each part and a threaded section at the other end so that, when the parts mate the threaded section of each part passes through the eye of the other to conform the inner surface of the clamp to the surface of the pipe to be clamped. Two nuts are threaded onto the threaded sections to secure the clamp in position. The clamp can have a projection extending beyond its eye in the direction of the threaded section.
