<p>The collective heating installation has a device within each individual zone registering the duration for which the circulation loop for the heat transfer medium remains open. The central metering point receives the measured durations for the respective zones and uses these in combination with the difference between the measured outside temp. and a reference value to obtain a value in degrees days. The calculated value for each zone is displayed to allow a meter reading to be taken. Pref. each zone has a thermostat controlling an electromagnetic valve inserted in the circulation circuit for the heat transfer medium, associated with an electric switch controlling a meter display at the central metering point. An integrator supplies pulses representing a degrees days value to each display for indexing the latter when a gate controlled by the switch is open.</p> |
