PURPOSE:To prevent an intake port from being remodeled, by baking a cylindrical hard sintered alloy which is hard to cut and has a prescribed thickness, to integrally fit the alloy on the peripheral edge of the intake port on the peripheral surface of a cylinder sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical hard sintered alloy 6 is baked and integrally bonded on the outside peripheral edge of an intake port 2 opened in a cylinder sleeve 3, so that a part of the alloy 6 is tightly fitted in the cylinder sleeve 3. The hard sintered alloy 6 is so formed that the intake port 2 can be connected to an intake passage 4 coupled to a carburetor (not shown). Since the hard sintered alloy is excellent in resistance to high temperature and wear, its hardness is maintained even at the high temperature. This results in preventing the intake port section from being remodeled by a cutter or the like. |
