<p>Roof tiles for heat recovery from ambient air are made of 1 mm thick sheets of an aluminium magnesium alloy or of polyester or of alloy steel and resemble conventional pantiles in their appearance. Each tile is equipped with a water inlet and a water outlet so that they can be coupled to each other and to a heat pump. This makes them independent of solar radiation and extracts heat from the ambient air because the heat pump keeps the roof temperature below outside temperature. It extracts even the heat from rainwater. In summer, the heat pump can be switched off to save power. This roof does not spoil the appearance of a house.</p> |
