The air blower has its speed controlled by the speed of the vehicla. The blower motor (G) has its speed regulated by a signal produced by a pulse generator measuring the distance travelled by the vehicle. The pulse generator has a sensor (SI) producing the control signal without being mechanically connected between the rotating part and the electronic circuitry. The sensor is a wheel sensor with reed contacts, which are located near the output of the gearing and the drive wheels. Alternatively the sensor may be inductive -- e.g a Hall effect device. A converter (W) converts the frequency of the pulse generator into a voltage (T) or into a pulse train whose pulse width depends on frequency. A microprocessor may be used to control the blower motor depending on the temp. outside the vehicle, the temp. of the cooling water and the temp. inside the vehicle. The converter is actuated by a manual device (H).
|
