<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a magnetic recording and reproducing device by providing a small-sized tape cassette adapter which has a tape drawing-out means for drawing a magnetic tape out of a small-sized tape cassette nearly along the tape traveling path of a standard tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:A rear 47 supported rotatably on the small-sized tape cassette adapter 44 incorporated in a device 1 rotates clockwise or counterclockwise according to the moving state of the adapter 44. While the adapter 44 projects partially from the device 1, a small-sized tape cassette is loaded on a loading part 46 and a button is operated, so that the adapter 44 moves back. At this time, the gear 47 of the adapter 44 is driven to rotate and then the magnetic tape 51 is drawn out of the cassette by rotary arms 49 and 50 to form nearly the same tape loop with the standard tape cassette. Therefore, a motor dedicated to tape drawing-out operation need not be provided to the small-sized tape cassette adapter.</p> |
