<p>The regulator maintains a nominal gas pressure to the burner by the action of a pump and valves which are controlled by the back gas pressure due to the jets of the burner, An additional valve regulates this pressure according to the hot water demand. The gas flow rate through the inlet to the outlet is regulated by a valve actuated by a membrane which responds to the gas pressure maintained by a pump. The excursion pf a pressure relief valve and membrane are limited by a spring-cushioned plate. This is linked via a rod to a membrane which responds to the hot water demand.</p> |
