The cording disc is for a cable cording machine used as a drive for the elements. It is attached to a tubular or rod shaped guide on the machine. It enables light wave conductors etc. to be processed without producing any kinks or deformation. The cording disc (20) consists of an inner (11) and an outer ring (16). The two rings are linked via radial spokes (14,15), the outer ring consists of two detachable sections. The tubular guide forms an integral part of the cording disc.
