The discharge system for a mobile concrete mixer is used where the discharged concrete is to be discharged as a number of equally sized amounts. The drum is rotated about its axis and contains a mixing screw which also discharges the charge through an opening at the rear. The quantity discharged each time is dependent on the number of rotations of the drum. The number of rotations is controlled by a monitoring device which is operated by the start of the discharge operation.
