<p>The automatic pump is esp. for vehicles. It has a piston, displaceable in a piston chamber, to monitor the connection between the antifreeze container and a compressed air pipe, dependent upon the pressure in the pipe, or a control pipe, extending from the pressure control. It has a unit to switch from summer- to winter operation. This consists of a manually actuated mechanism (15,33,35,37,39), connected to the piston (17), to lock or free it. The mechanism comprises of a piston rod (15), the free end of which engages with a manually actuated control sleeve (35), which in turn determines the axial stroke of the rod.</p> |
