PURPOSE:To realize a reading at the correct position regradless of the difference in the manual scanning speeds, by giving a sampling with every row of photoelectric transducers to the photoelectric conversion siganl that is scanned later among the two rows of photoelectric transducers and then carrying out a correct reading with a correct distance of sampling positions on the reading surface. CONSTITUTION:The synchronous signal generator circuit 1 produces the row synchronous signal 101 with every scanning unit of a row of the sensor arrays as well as the cell synchronous signal 102 with every scanning unit and in correspondence to the photoelectric transducers forming the sensor arrays 3A and 3B. With these signals 101 and 102, the necessary scan control signal 201 is supplied to the arrays 3A and 3B each from the driving circuit 2. A photoelectric conversion is given to a row of the optical images formed by the lens system of the reader 3 and by the arrays 3A and 3B and then given to quantitizing circuit 4 to be amplified and sampled synchronizing with the signal 102. Then the image signals 4A and 4B are applied to the speed control circuit 5. At the circuit 5 the signals 4A and 4B are sampled with every row, and then the read start signal 610 and the row sample synchronous signal 710 are supplied to the read processor 8. |
