PURPOSE:To easily test a telephone set by providing a testing device having a means for sending out plural charging signal pulses to the telephone set to be tested, by executing the opeation decided in advance by use of the telephone set to be tested. CONSTITUTION:A public telephone set T to be tested is connected to the testing device TSTE through the path 6 in the speech path switch network SW. Its connection is made through the speech path switch network SW by dialing a specified number for the test 1XY from the telephone set T. The charging signal pulse of the constant number which has been decided in advance or the number designated by a tester is sent out to the telephone set T, and the operation for receiving the charging signal of the telephone set T, and receiving a coin. |
