<p>A stable suspension of coal in hydrocarbon oil and water is stabilised by the addition of a dispersing agent comprising the product of reaction of coal carboxylate with a base. Coal carboxylate is polycyclic, polycarboxylic acids obtained by oxidizing coal. The suspension is prepared by admixing the components thereof. </p> |
